SITA Abfallverwertung GmbH, Zorbau

The construction of the thermal waste recycling plant AV Zorbau saw the implementation of a particularly environmentally-friendly system idea that ensured that all business procedures would be monitored and optimised with the use of a modern communications infrastructure and software layout.

With the use of our A/C/S® software, the entire stream of materials in the SITA waste recycling process can be displayed, from the weighing station right through to the invoicing process.

As for the use and removal of materials using the A/C/S® Anlage/Waage module, in the domains of waste recycling and removal the person in charge of the module can monitor and assess almost all waste management and commercial processes within the plant.  During the operating procedure in the entrance area, within the site and in the exit area, data are gathered and used for optimisation purposes.  The module also provides the electronic link between the procedures of weighing and computer-based process control, as well as access to the integrated software.

SWE Stadtwirtschaft GmbH, Erfurt

At the end of 2005, Q-SOFT started a pilot project at the Erfurt Waste Disposal Service with the aim of optimising two vehicles used for on-call collection of bulky refuse.

Since May 2006, the city of Erfurt has been efficiently planning and carrying out bulky waste disposal using the new TourGO® software.
The daily volume of orders can now be completed with just one vehicle, which brings an increase of up to 50% in the efficiency of daily order processing.

As a result, the Erfurt Waste Disposal Service has not just been able to bring down its incurred costs but has also been able to offer customers a better level of service.

TBZ Technisches Betriebszentrum, Flensburg

With individual optimisation approaches, A/C/S® supports the town of Flensburg with its introduction of a new waste disposal system.

For optimising waste disposal in the town of Flensburg and improving customer service, a new waste disposal concept was developed by an institution that envisaged the introduction of district waste disposal (collection of all large rubbish containers in the various waste categories on a specific weekday for each street).  For this purpose, the service team and fleet of vehicles were set aside from one another and the computer-aided route planning for both departments was optimised.  In the process, the use of route simulation in conjunction with the graphic planning tool A/C/S® Geografisches Informationssystem, with which simulation exercises can also be executed without any disruption to the functionality of the product, proved to be helpful.  With the use of A/C/S®, container modification services, service provision and planning run effectively and without any disruption to the used media.

The following modules are used: A/C/S® Stammdaten & Behälterverwaltung (master data and container management), A/C/S® Restmüll/Wertstoff/Biomüll (non-recyclable/recyclable/organic waste) and A/C/S® Geografisches Informationssystem (geographical information system).

WERT Wertstoff-Einsammlung GmbH, Hamburg

Q-SOFT launches software for waste disposal management in the form of intricate branch software for optimising operating procedures.

In 2003, WERT Wertstoff-Einsammlung GmbH Hamburg were looking for a new form of branch software, in particular with the aim of reducing the time, effort and money that went into management as well as improving customer service and efficiency in the domains of planning and transport logistics.  The goal of the project was to represent the integrated and semi-automated operating procedures in IT format, which included processing offers and contracts, running upgrades and managing complaints as part of customer service, scheduling and planning routes, invoicing for the services provided and transferring invoice information to the financial accounting department.

The following modules were used: A/C/S® Stammdaten & Behälterverwaltung (master data and container management), A/C/S® Vertrieb (sales & marketing), A/C/S® Restmüll/Wertstoff/Biomüll (non-recyclable/recyclable/organic waste), A/C/S® Geografisches Informationssystem (geographical information system) and A/C/S® Fakturierung (invoicing) with an interface to the financial accounting system (KHK).

With the help of A/C/S®, the operating procedures were tightened and simplified, and above all they became continuous and hence more effectively configured.
